Possum Juniors is an affiliate group with Possum Point Players that provides opportunities for young performers and theatre artists to develop skills and friendships within the world of theatre.
Membership is free and open to any student currently enrolled in grades 5 through 12!
The "PJ's" (as we are affectionately known!) meet on the 3rd Monday of every month from September to May, 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Monthly Workshops
Each monthly workshop meeting focuses on a different aspect of the theatre world, along with improvisation and games to build confidence, creativity, and comradery. We cover topics such as makeup, lighting, costuming, choreography, playwriting, auditioning, as well as acting techniques and the fundamentals of theatre.
Our workshops are offered from September through May; they will resume when the academic year begins.
Summer Production
Every summer, we have the opportunity to take the stage with a full-scale production, exploring a variety of genres, from plays to musicals to theatre-for-youth productions!
Auditions are open to anyone in grades 5 through 12, regardless of participation in previous PJ meetings.

PJ's also have the opportunity to work with Possum Point Players in a variety of other roles such as assisting backstage, helping with tech needs, ushering, and even performing in main stage productions!
