You may think you know Sherlock Holmes. Chances are, you have heard many stories of his exploits. But there is one story you do not know… one case his associate John Watson did not turn into a sensational tabloid tale. Because some tales are too personal for that.
In 1899 the famous consulting detective is newly and happily retired until a mysterious visitor steps out of the pages of American history to ensnare him in a conspiracy that began with the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and threatens both the Crown and civilization. In the process he and Watson will have to face their own demons--addiction, guilt, shame, lost love, and loneliness--as they are drawn deeper into an abyss from which they and the world may never return...

The End of the Run is a full-length feature film created from script to screen by the Possum Point Players community. Described by writer/director Ray Crew as “a love story, a mob tale, and a morality play,” the film tells the story of a would-be actor, Billy, the middle brother in a mob family who has failed at everything in life and has been reduced to appearing in a cheesy murder mystery dinner theater to help his older brother steal money. When Billy is at his lowest, he’s visited by Angela, a long-lost love he hasn’t seen in a decade. She says she wants to save him but she’s concealing secrets that will change Billy… and the world forever.
The cast includes Sue Gerdes, Steven Dow, Jill Liberaski, Steven Perry, Karen Crew, Tony Gerdes, Steven Givens, Luette Muir, Donna de Kuyper, and Cat Baker.
"The End of the Run is a morality tale filled with intrigue and charm..."
