ABOUT THE SHOW...
In Possum Point Players' Possum Juniors' production of The Jungle Book, adapted for the stage by Monica Flory, the audience will feel fully immersed into the jungle experience.
It follows the tale of a young boy, Mowgli, who has run away from home and is taken in by a pack of wolves who, with help from a certain bear, Baloo, and his intelligent panther friend, Bagheera, raise the boy to be one of their own. Mowgli, through lessons in the Laws of the Jungle, provided by Baloo, learns to run with the pack of wolves. Although, Shere Khan, a menacing, blood-thirsty tiger who has just shifted her hunting grounds, has it out for Mowgli.
Through this tale of self discovery and true bravery, Mowgli is faced with a number of decisions. He can stay with his pack, or return to the human world where he was born. So, which will he choose? And will he be trained in the Law of the Jungle in time to defeat Shere Khan?
To find out, you'll just have to see Possum Junior's production of The Jungle Book.
