AUDITIONS for Possum Pictures Next Film Set for DEC 3...

Writer/director Ray Crew has scheduled auditions for

Possum Pictures' next film, 1912.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, December 3 at 6:00p

in Possum Hall Theatre in Georgetown, Delaware.

The film is set to premiere in late 2026.

Greetings PPP Members!

At the January 9, 2026 Annual Meeting, the Possum Point Players will hold their annual membership meeting. The agenda at that meeting will include the election of Trustees whose terms are expiring. They are the following positions:

Executive Committee

President: one-year term, expires Dec. 2026

Vice President: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

At-Large #1: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Building & Grounds: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Fundraising: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Artistic Committee

Set Construction: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Props: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Director Selection/Liaison: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Publicity: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Reading Committee: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Costumes: two-year term, expires Dec. 2027

Possum Point Players members who have paid their dues for 2025 on or before November 28, 2025 are invited to submit their name, position they are nominating themselves for, and a statement (NO MORE THAN 50 WORDS) as to why they believe they have the experience, time and desire to be elected to that position. (It is recommended that you pay your dues and become a member prior to the meeting as it makes the process easier!)

If you wish to nominate someone else and submit a statement on their behalf, you must also be a PPP member.

The deadline for submitting applications is November 28, 2025. Since the 50-word statement is required of all applicants, there will be NO nominations from the floor at the meeting.

More information about the duties of these positions is available on the PPP website (www.possumpointplayers.org), and notices about the time of the annual meeting will be advertised in local media as well as through mass email and the PPP website.

Possum Point Players, Inc. will hold its Annual Meeting on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 6:30p at Possum Hall in Georgetown. All members and prospective members are invited and encouraged to attend!
