The cast for A 2012 Celebration of Black History will celebrate the diversity of talent that comes through the African American tradition. Performers will present narrations, dance, music, and historical information, and the show will trace the timeline of African roots to current African American culture.
The Lindy Hop? The golden era of the Harlem Renaisance? The origins of today's Hip Hop? There has been so much cultural growth that it was difficult to choose what to put in the show. This is an excited group who will bring their best to the Possum stage in a sparkling production you won't want to miss! Possum Point Players is proud to celebrate Black History Month2012 and the richness and contributions of African American culture to our great nation.
